illustration i did for kandy as a christmas present. year after year i keep telling myself to do some art for her and i always wait too long to get something done. well this year as soon as she was out the door for work i sat down at the computer and worked until i had about 1 minute to wash my hair and run out the door. does this mean i'll have to do it again next year? what have i started?!

another fairly loose sketchbook image inked and brought into photoshop. that backround image is from my copy of taschen's 1000 tattoos. it was cheap and full of great reference photos but the spine just dislodged itself when i grabbed it off the shelf to put it on the scanner. i guess when you pay 9.99 you aren't necessarily getting a book built to last

in honor of 'casino royale' (which i'm pretty psyched about after not seeing a bond film since 'golden eye') i'm blowing the dust off an older image. logo designed for a movie club i had with friends. despite the name my wife was an active member and women were welcome. it was a good excuse to get together and see loud, silly, sexist, and hugely entertaining movies-AT THE THEATER-not on dvd. we even had shirts with this logo. ps-i heard a guy on radio asking his collegues about their favorite james bond. most of them said roger moore?! are you people drunk?! go back and look at 'from russia with love' and admit your mistake!
